Relaxation Station UK LTD opened the first onsite mobile seated chair massage facility in any UK airport with the introduction our massage site in Glasgow International Airport. Since then we have provided onsite chair massage to thousands of customers using our unique brand of acupressure massage.
In an often stressful environment we have furnished the public with a relaxing ‘drop-in’ sanctuary accessible to all passengers, members of the public and airport staff. No need to book ahead, just come on in and we’ll find a slot for you.
People use our service for all sorts of reasons: to ease the stresses associated with air travel, health maintenance, to loosen up tired or aching muscles or simply to enjoy their time between flights.
Some clients struggle to fit relaxation into their day; our Short Haul massage lasts for 10 mins and is a very effective way of unwinding and everyone should be able to take 10 mins out of a day to relax.
Wether you need a 10 minute session to loosen up or a 30 minute overhaul we’ve got the massage to suit you and highly trained therapists to welcome you. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Our Massage
The massage we practice at Relaxation Station is unique in style to the company and has been tailored to meet most people’s expectations of how massage should feel. We have borrowed from many techniques including shiatsu, acupressure and Swedish massage.
- On-site massage works through the clothing and no oils are used.
- Clients sit forward on an ergonomic massage chair designed for comfort and support.
- Most On-site massage sessions last between 10 and 30mins and involve mainly the neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands.
- Relaxation Station’s brand of massage is excellent for loosening up stiff necks, tight shoulders, sore backs, tired arms and hands.
- It can even relieve tension headaches, beat jetlag and help nervous fliers.
- Receiving a massage will help you to identify tension in your body so it can be addressed before it becomes more of a problem.
- Regular massage is cumulative; consistent use reinforces the benefits.
Massage does not replace the need for your GP and a doctor’s advice should be sought for any medical conditions prior to receiving a massage.
